About Us

Biography

Shipley Equine Services is owned and operated by Jenna Shipley Rosado. She has been riding horses from an early age and has over 20 years of experience in the horse industry. From interning and working at local barns, she gained experience with hunter/jumper training, eventing, dressage, and natural horsemanship. Through these experiences, she was able to learn what it takes to care for performance horses as well as rehab horses. She likes to spend her free time with her Morgan horses and care for her family’s farm.

Education

Saddle Fitting

Through bodywork,  Jenna has been able to see the affects of poor tack fit on a regular basis.  She has numerous certificates pertaining to saddle/ bridle fitting, flocking, and repair work through the North American Saddlery School. She is also currently a Society of Master Saddlers Trainee, working under the scheme to increase her learning under the eyes of a Master Saddle Fitter through the Society. Jenna is excited to be continually increasing her knowledge of saddlery by attending classes each year while she provides her own clients with these services.

Equine Bodywork

Jenna obtained a level 1 and level 2 equine bodywork certification by completing a year long internship with a preferred educator through the IIAMB (International Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork). Through this hands-on internship,  she was able to acquire the skills of equine sports massage, structural balancing, and sports rehabilitation.

Class IV Laser Therapy

In 2024, Jenna acquired the Pegasus PTX-IQ laser from Companion Animal Health. Jenna is AIMLA (American Institute of Medical Laser Application) certified.

Equine Kinesiology

Jenna is a certified Equine Kinesiology Practitioner through Holistic Animal Studies. Through this program, she learned over 50 different tape applications to decrease pain, provide support, decrease inflammation, and increase proprioception in horses.

f a Master Saddle Fitter through the Society. Jenna is excited to be continually increasing her knowledge of saddlery by attending classes each year while she provides her own clients with these services.
